Winter is just round the corner. The preparation for the upcoming cold days is on, though. We really hope you have already made the home changes you need to secure the cosiness and the warmth. However, if this is a task you haven’t done yet, here are some awesome tips. Find out how to get a super DIY bed warmer for upcoming winter cold days. Follow this simple tutorial and preserve the happy and warm emotions (and temperatures!) in your living space, too:

  • The simplest DIY bed warmer. It will take you only 3-4 minutes to make your bed less cold. What you need to do is to gather handful of rice or some beans. Warm them in the microwave. Then, place them in a textile – make a sack. Fill the gaps between the bed sheet and the mattress. Your bed is already warmer.

  • The previous idea might sound to you a bit improvising. Besides, eating in your bed is not recommended. And it will probably make a huge mess in your bed. Thus, you will have to call the professional home cleaners more frequently. See the next idea, though.

  • You will need to find some fabric, at first. Do not waste your money in vain. The stuffing, but not the packing matters for the better heating effect. Get some organic cotton. It is both – long-lasting and delicate to sensitive skin. Besides, it is accessible and affordable.

  • Fold the textile in half lengthwise. Before sewing the fabric with some rice in it, see if it will fit the microwave volume.

  • Make few sewed zones – packed with rice – and sew each of them. Create a concertina and fold it. Put it inside the microwave and heat. Repeat this procedure every time before going to bed.

  • It is also important to secure the bedside area. Check if the windows are fine. Also, make sure there is no humidity in the room. Last, but not least, install a rug under the bed to keep the area warm. Do the carpet sanitising precisely to avoid too much dust around your sleeping zone.
