Herbs are extremely useful. They are amazing for boosting your immune system as a prophylactic method for keeping yourself in a good healthy condition. Also, they are considered as even better cures than the drugs from the store in some occasions. Herbs are also very pleasant for spicing up meals without using gluten and GMO additions for your food. Last, but not least, herbs are preferable ingredients for preparing green cleansing solutions – for stain removal or for general home cleaning. See our suggestions for most original ways to store the herbs at home and inspire to have your own herb in reserve, too:

  • Cute jars in the kitchen drawer. You would say what exactly is the original here? Well, you don’t just place the herbs inside the jars, but you need to decorate them, too! Use colourful labels or wrap the jar with bamboo leaves and then tie with hemp ribbon!

  • In case you have a spacious and large kitchen, put the herbs on display! Just like the natural plants are great decoration ideas for the living room, dry spices and herbs may adorn your lovely provincial-styled kitchen. Arrange them on the shelves by accommodating them in shoe boxes or glass vessels!

  • Herb authentic letters. Get some old newspapers and wrap the herbs inside them. Then, roll the “letter” up and tie with a colourful ribbon! Store the herbs on upper shelf, because if they fall down on the ground or on the carpet, the tiny pieces may get stuck into the fibres. You will have to clean the mess by using steam carpet cleaning services.

  • Hang them on the wall! Once again wrap and tie the herbs. Then, knock some hooks in the wall and hang the herbs. This is a cute idea that is very suitable for fresh green herbs! Try it – you will not regret!

  • Fill the glass ampoules with herbs! Hang them on a wooden panel on your wall or arrange them in one free drawer. Warn your home cleaners where the herbs are stored, so there will be no risk for them to drop and break the delicate glass vessels!

Last, but not least, make sure the herbs are stored in a place, where no humidity will destroy and take their beneficial features away! The drier your storage solution is, the better for the herb preservation!
